This seems to be a pretty big issue. And hey, it was no surprise for me to see that. In fact, this was one of the points i knew already that it was bad with the software. The reason there is still no animation is simple:
It really takes a lot of time to make the pictures and it will take much more time to make animations, at least if they should be more than simple up-down animations.

Nevertheless, animations are planned and it is already worked on them. But it will take a some time until they are published. Until that, well, for obvious reasons there will no animation version of the program
